This AIA CES course includes an informative, educational plant tour of the Koetter Woodworking manufacturing facility in Borden, IN. This tour will cover all aspects of how mouldings and doors are manufactured, from conception to finished product.

This AIA course features a comprehensive, educational tour of the Koetter Woodworking manufacturing facility in Borden, Indiana. Beginning with the kiln drying and rough mill operation, participants will learn about the importance of proper drying of raw materials used in the manufacture of millwork and doors. The tour will cover, in depth, all aspects of how wood mouldings are manufactured, from drawing to finished product. Participants will see, first hand, how virtually 100% of the wood fiber is used during the production process.
