Account Representatives

Ben Williamson

Account Representative

Ben joined the Koetter team in March of 2013. He was able to gain “hands-on” experience in a variety of capacities in our finished-goods warehouse before joining the sales team in February of 2014. Ben is excited to use his growing product knowledge and prior customer service experience to help serve the needs of our customers.

Outside of work, Ben is active in the community of his local church. He and his wife became first-time parents in the spring of 2014, and he absolutely loves this new chapter of life. When Ben has time beyond those responsibilities, he enjoys thoughtful gaming, reading anything, and movies that make him laugh!

Brenda McDermott

Account Representative

Brenda has been with Koetter Woodworking for over 21 years, having started on the production floor making Finger-Joint Poplar and “stacking whatever needed to be stacked”! Shortly after joining the company, Brenda moved into a customer service role. She enjoys building relationships with her customers and being a part of their success!

Growing up on a farm instilled Brenda with a love of animals (for which her three dogs, 2 rabbits, and cat are grateful!) She also enjoys spending time gardening, and landscaping.

Keith

Keith Hall

Account Representative

With 23 years at Koetter Woodworking and more than 30 years experience in the industry, Keith brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our sales team. His primary focus is working with customers that manufacture kitchen cabinetry, office furniture, casegoods, and store fixtures to help support their business through creative problem solving and dedicated service.

Keith is a proud Army veteran of the Persian Gulf War. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, helping others, and the occasional round of golf.

Kayla Elliott

Account Representative

Kayla joined Koetter Woodworking in 2017 as a Billing Clerk, gaining invaluable experience in customer service, data entry, and order processing. In May of 2023, she transitioned to the sales team, where she thrives on learning something new every day and tackling the diverse products and challenges that come her way at KW.

Outside the office, she enjoys quality time with family, including her dog, getting lost in a good book, or discovering a new TV series to binge!

Kristie Nale

Account Representative

Since 2010, Kristie has played a pivotal role at Koetter, boasting over three decades of experience in wood products manufacturing. Her extensive background includes office furniture production and finishing, and in-field trouble-shooting, Kristie’s expertise in wood products has proven to be a great asset to the customers she serves.

Kristie loves Indiana Hoosier basketball and the outdoors – especially hiking, horseback riding, and relaxing by a campfire!

Lisa Heck​

Account Representative

Lisa joined the Koetter team as an Account Representative in 1999, after spending several years in retail management. She loves the daily personal interaction in her job, and considers her customers part of her extended family.

Outside of work, she enjoys cooking for her family and spending as much time as possible with her grandbabies!

Jamey DeMarsh

Account Representative

In February 2020, Jamey became an integral part of our team, bringing with her more than 12 years of customer service expertise gained from her previous role at a family-owned business. Jamey takes great pleasure in every facet of customer service, with a particular fondness for the opportunity to connect with new people!

Outside of work, Jamey enjoys spending time with her family & friends, as well as her two dogs. She also loves going to concerts and sporting events as well as spending time outdoors.

Paul Dittmeier

Account Representative

In December 2021, Paul became a valued member of our team, bringing with him an impressive 35 years of experience in both woodworking and customer service in the Kentuckiana region. Paul places great emphasis on assisting customers and fostering strong relationships with them.

Beyond the workplace, Paul finds joy in spending quality time with his wife, three children, and two grandchildren. He also indulges in his passions for cooking, playing the pedal steel guitar, and working on projects in his home shop.

Taylor Elliott

Account Representative

After completing high school, Taylor balanced sales and management roles while pursuing her college education part-time. In August of 2022, she joined the Koetter team, initially working with the S-90 Chop Saw. Her exceptional performance led to a swift promotion as Operator of the Artis+ CNC.

Taylor revels in the daily interactions with customers and immersing herself in the rich history and diverse products manufactured by Koetter Woodworking. She finds immense satisfaction in the continuous learning opportunities that arise almost every day!

During her leisure time, Taylor enjoys taking her faithful Boxer, Rex, on walks. She also takes pleasure in reading while sipping on coffee, and curating and enjoying her vinyl collection.

Carol Dora

Sales & Marketing

After graduating with her degree in Interior Design, Carol initially served as a project estimator for a local dealer, providing millwork packages to custom home builders in the Louisville, Kentucky, and Southern Indiana markets. After dedicating a few years to mastering the intricacies of millwork, she embarked on her career with Koetter Woodworking.

Throughout her extensive 34-year tenure at Koetter, Carol has immersed herself in every facet of sales and marketing. Presently, she oversees the Account Representative team and spearheads all marketing initiatives for the company.

In her spare time, Carol enjoys spending time with family, including her two English Springer Spaniels. She also loves to travel – her favorite thing to do is spend a week at the beach reading several good books!

Clay Gahimer

Sales & Marketing

Over his nearly three-decade tenure at Koetter Woodworking, Clay has worn many hats, starting from grading and bundling mouldings, to roles in inside sales and estimating. Currently, he holds the position of Director of Sales & Product Management.

When not at work, Clay finds joy in reading, fishing, strumming his guitar, and treasuring moments with his wife and three sons.

Sam Smith

Business Development

Sam has been a part of the KW team for over 50 years, serving in various roles including production/plant management as well as corporate strategy. He is able to draw on this extensive experience-base when working with industry partners to develop new markets and find effective solutions to today’s business challenges.

When he’s not hard at work on the challenges of the day or looking forward to the opportunities of tomorrow, Sam can often be found on his tractor working around the farm, or enjoying time with his grandchildren.

Daniel Carter

Outside Sales

Daniel joined the Koetter sales team in January of 2014 after graduating from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Daniel is excited to put his education and previous experience in the building materials industry to work for his customers.

Daniel is an avid auto enthusiast and enjoys everything about the auto industry – from its rich history and iconic place in America’s popular culture to the industry’s importance to the U.S. manufacturing base.

Eric Meyer

Outside Sales

From a young age, Eric gained his love of woodworking while working alongside his father at their family-owned business, building custom antique reproduction furniture as well as providing furniture restoration and repair services. He has been a member of the KW team since 2007. He managed our door hanging department for 7 years and most recently, served as the Manager of the Continuous Improvement Team.

In his spare time, Eric enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and loves all things related to the outdoors, including camping, fishing and golf! He is also a die-hard Kentucky basketball fan.

Mike Deacon

Outside Sales

Mike began his career on the manufacturing floor at Koetter nearly 28 years ago. Today he spends much of his time in the field servicing the needs of our dealers. The key to Mike’s success has been his passion for understanding the markets he services and the needs of our customers in those markets. “Every day brings new opportunities and new challenges, and finding creative solutions to meet the need at hand is what drives me each day”.

Mike loves the water, and is an avid skier and boating enthusiast. He is also devoted to his family and to his Louisville Cardinal sports!
